“FROM THE HORSE’S POINT OF VIEW”

Let’s see who the real JOCKEYS are?
I will give $1,000.00 to anyone that shows a video of someone running the pattern in the correct leads, this shouldn’t be that tough, right?

This is by far the #1 problem in this sport. If you were to run 3 times in a 50’ circle in the wrong leads everyone will laugh at you, and think you couldn’t ride in a covered wagon with both end gates up.. But you run the pattern in the wrong leads and everyone calls you a HELL OF A JOCKEY. BU****IT it’s nothing short of PISS-POOR HORSEMANSHIP, causing HOCK-POPPING, period. And I will never quit until everyone sees it, and starts doing something about it.

#1. How many times should our horses change leads to run the pattern correctly 1-2 or 3 times, and why, does anyone know how many?

#2. Should the changes be FRONT-FOOT FIRST, or HIND-FOOT FIRST lead changes, and why? And also where are they to be done to run the pattern correctly? This is the difference between RACING and just RUNNING around three little cans.

#3. Can anyone explain what “HOCK-POPPING” is? And why it is breaking down the hinds legs of all these horses in this sport, and everyone is doing it, and I mean EVERYONE?

You know what is amazing is no one can answer these 3 questions or even show a video of someone that can run the pattern in the correct leads, but everyone thinks they are a JOCKEY, and their horses are doing, GREAT. Because some DUMB-ASS “WORLD CHAMPION CAMPFIRE RIDER” that’s long on wind and short on know-how, says your doing FANTASTIC OR YOU’RE A ROCK-STAR. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but no one is even close, and all the horses are paying for it, and no one seems to care. Because running around the same three little cans, over and over, in the wrong leads is nothing to brag about, it’s nothing short of “POOR HORSEMANSHIP”, period. And it is happening all the way to the top, and it has for over 45 years, because no one knows how to change leads. You see it is quite simple if you cannot do a DROP-TO-A-TROT, FRONT-FOOT-FIRST, or HIND-FOOT-FIRST lead changes on call, down the center of the area, and double 360’s over the hocks in a left and right lead around the area, as fast as you can run, you will never be able to run the pattern in the correct leads because you haven’t a clue how to change leads, and it is impossible for the horses to do it on their own, period. And it is also impossible for any horse to be in the correct leads in any size circle when the ASS does a bigger size circle than the front end, just like everyone is doing. Let’s see who is willing to fix this, so the question is,”HOW CAN IT BE FIXED”, and where do we start if we all love our horses so much?

Great video explaining why race horses change leads on the track 5 times if you want to win, just that simple. And in Barrels it should be 3 times if you want to win. Or don’t change and break all the horses down like it’s being done today in so called Barrel Racing for the past 40 years in this sport, and we’ve been proving it for over 75 years, and they don’t give s**t. FROM THE HORSES POINT OF VIEW
These 10 things prove that no one in this so called “Barrel RACING Sport” knows anything about RACING. All they do is RUN the pattern and waste a lot of time and screw up a lot of great horses.
I will give anyone $1,000.00 if they can prove this to be wrong, good luck it’s never been done by anyone in over 85 plus years.
Let me see if I’ve got this right, to make a horse run faster and in the correct leads we are to.
#1. Hang onto the horn so we don’t fall off and pull the horse off balance.
#2. Pound your ASS in the seat like a jack hammer.
#3. Use a wooden saddle tree that is three times harder than the back of Superman’s head that will never fit a moving object or any horse on the planet.
#4. Beat the wind out of them with both legs with a set of spurs, so he doesn’t stretch-out in a full run.
#5. Use a bit that has nothing to do with turning or stopping, and rip their lips off.
#6. Have a saddle built so poorly that you have to make the cantle the height of your shoulder blades so you don’t fall out the back end.
#7. Hang the stirrups behind the cinch like a Western Pleasure or Dressage saddle and have to ride on your seat and not your feet like a true JOCKEY with the stirrups hung in front of the cinch and behind the elbows of the horse.
#8. Build the front of the seats up to push you back away from the elbows of the horse, and ride so far back so that you look like your riding double but the guy in front got off.
#9. Now let’s lean into the turns to make the horse turn wider and in the wrong leads.
#10. Last but not least, always make the hind end turn a bigger size circle than the front end, so they will always be in the wrong leads.
Don’t get mad show me a better way and earn your $1.000.00. This is only for those that are tired of coming in second place, and tired of all the BU****IT, and this video will prove that your saddles have nothing to do with RACING, but yet you still keep using them WHY?

The real question is can a horse run faster on any length straightaway or any size circle all the way down to a double three sixty over the hocks if we ride on our FEET or pound our ASS in the seat like a jackhammer. The answer is we must ride on our FEET if you want faster times period and the saddle your riding will never let that happen, NEVER, and that is why all horses are running the pattern in the incorrect leads and are breaking down, and that goes for everyone in this sport, just that simple.
