Another amazing hands on, outside of the box lesson going on at PJH!! Students really jumped in and took pride in achieving this skill.

Last week the Principles of Agriculture wrapped up their Official Dress unit and took the time to learn how to tie a tie!

They squeezed in one last Leadership Friday!!

Students worked in small groups to master the skill by the end of class. They worked together to help each other and some even brought in their own tie! Thank you Mrs. Todar!!

There were many students who wanted to wear their tie all day! Because in JH- style is KING! 👑

🫧🍬 Bubble Gum + Math = A Sweet Way to Learn! 🍬🫧

Mrs. Barksdale’s 6th grade math class put their math skills to the test with a Bubble Gum Lab! 📊✏️
Students chewed bubble gum while collecting data, calculating unit rates, and investigating how the size of their chomps affected their chewing speed. Who knew math could be this much fun—and this tasty?! 😋
We love seeing our Lions learning through hands-on activities that make math meaningful and memorable! 🦁❤️
