We had a wonderful time celebrating Mrs. Wanda Brown’s retirement yesterday! Mrs. Brown is retiring after 35 years of dedicated service to education. We have been blessed to have her at PDLE for the majority of her tenure and we will deeply miss her next year. Congratulations, Mrs. Brown! Enjoy every moment of your retirement with those you love!

As the school year comes to a close today, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank our Holmes County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Deputies for another outstanding year of service.

Our SROs do far more than provide security on campus. They build relationships with students, mentor young people, assist school staff, and help create a safe and positive learning environment each and every day.

Whether responding to emergencies, supporting school events, or simply being a trusted adult that students can turn to, they make a difference in the lives of countless children across Holmes County.

We are proud of the dedication, professionalism, and compassion our School Resource Deputies demonstrate throughout the year.

Their commitment helps ensure our schools remain safe places where students can learn, grow, and succeed.

Thank you to all of our SROs for your hard work and for representing the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office with pride.

We had the best day celebrating our Little Pirates that met AR Goal 3 at Just Jump Trampoline Park!

After completing our final SAC meeting of the year, we thanked our members for their dedication and support with a special lunch for them and their Little Pirates!

We wrapped up our Kindergarten Signing Days on Friday! Our Little Pirate Crew keeps growing and we are thankful!
