2023 SLC was awesome this year!
Everybody did amazing and had a great time!
Podcast Production Team took first place this year and will be joining the Virtual Multimedia and Promotion Team in Anaheim for nationals!

PO-HI BPA’s Multimedia and Promotion Team just got word that their project placed top ten in the country! This means that they are invited to National Leadership Conference this April in Anaheim California!

We are currently looking for local businesses to make donations and/or sponsorships to help fund the trip. If you are interested in helping out please email me at [email protected]

The project consisted of scripting, filming, and editing a video about why businesses should come to Ponca City. The team consisted of Ethan Meyer, Amanie Owdetallah, Madison Robbins, and Dylan Nance. Feel free to check it out below!

The same members also competed in the Broadcast News Production event, where they were tasked with creating a video about the low employment rates across the country. The team will be presenting it at State Leadership Conference next week. The video can all be found below.

Today was Working Wednesday!
Tobey McDaniel our secretary for Po-Hi BPA, wanted to share his team working together for state coming up!

He says, “This was our last recording session and we just barely nailed the time limit and we were all very psyched. Recording for the podcast creates great opportunities for us to throw out ideas and experiment with the equipment even if we don't exactly know what we are planning to say. Out of my two years doing the podcast team this has been my favorite!”

His team plans on attending SLC in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to compete in the Podcast Production Team. GOODLUCK!!

Historian Andi Massey was asked to tell and explain why she loved BPA!

Andi says, “I love bpa because it helps me develop critical life skills. I also love how it gives me the opportunities to meet new people and create relationships.”

President Ethan Meyer starts off the BPA week with the question, ”How have you shared the excitement and benefits of BPA? ”

Ethan says, “I share all of our BPA experience both in person and on social media. I enjoy showing our projects to people to spread awareness and gather input to help improve our final product. “

The team of horses are ready to meet you and your family at the opening night event as they take you on a ride through the park to view the lights!🎄 The line starts at the shelter houses, and when you get done, grab a cup of hot cocoa☕️ and a cookie🍪 before stopping to take a pic. Santa and Mrs. Claus have their gift sack packed; make sure you mark your calendar for this Wednesday, November 23, from 6:00-9:00! 🎅🏻🧑🏻‍🎄
