Coach Craig Spencer is being inducted into the national wrestling Hall of Fame on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

You don’t need to attend to show your appreciation for coach if he impacted your life in any way whether as a student, an athlete, a coworker, a classmate, a friend, or family member. You can take out an ad in the Induction program!

Prices range from $100 for a quarter page ad to $250 for a full page ad.

The word “ad” it’s not really an accurate description of what it is.

Your “ad” can have words of gratitude and appreciation, a message to the Spencer family, or anything else related to Coach Spencer.

Examples of “ads” are posted here.

I am also including the ad contract form for you to get an ad.

As our own Coach Craig Spencer is being inducted into the national wrestling Hall of Fame this September (NJ Chapter), we have posted a few times here about donating to this charity golf event for the NJ Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of fame and even though the deadline for the golf event was June 25, it’s not too late to still make a donation.
This is a great way to raise money.
We have added a number of folks in the wrestling community to this post and you should all feel free to also share this post out on your pages or sent to people that might want to donate to this worthy cause. All the details are located here and if you have any questions, there’s also contact information.

Calling all wrestlers, coaches, alumni, friends, family, and anyone who enjoys golf, charity, and the occasional heroic search for a ball in the woods.

And this year feels even more special for many of us, because our own Coach Craig Spencer will be inducted into this very same Hall of Fame in September. That makes supporting the chapter this year even more meaningful.

The NJ Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame is hosting its 23rd Annual Golf Outing on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Mercer Oaks Golf Club in West Windsor, NJ.

This is always a great day — 9:00 AM shotgun/scramble, breakfast and registration, golf, cart, practice range, giveaways, prizes, silent auction, and a buffet dinner after golf.

More importantly, this outing helps raise money for a great cause, including wrestling camp and clinic scholarships for deserving youth, along with contributions to veterans and relief organizations, children’s hospitals, St. Jude’s, Ronald McDonald House, and Make-A-Wish.

Pricing is $180 per golfer and $75 for dinner only. Foursomes are not required, so don’t let that stop you from signing up.

Please consider playing, sponsoring, donating, or simply helping spread the word. It’s a fun day, a great cause, and a chance to support the wrestling community that gave so much to so many of us.

Questions: Contact Ken Bernabe at [email protected] or 732-991-3984.

Registration/payment deadline: June 26.

Every year the New Jersey Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame selects a handful of very distinguished individuals to be inducted. They are all people of high character who have devoted themselves to excellence in the sport of wrestling as either a wrestler or coach or contributor to the sport. Sometimes a combination of all 3.
The New Jersey Chapter nominated Coach Craig Spencer to receive the "Lifetime Service to Wrestling" Award.

We are proud and happy to announce the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Board of Governors has selected him (and a handful of others) for this great honor and Induction to the New Jersey Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, Class of 2026.

What does this mean? This award acknowledges that Craig's life has been significant and he has left behind a benchmark and legacy of excellence that others surely will follow. He will have a special place in the History of Wrestling and that place is the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum, Stillwater, Oklahoma.

This is a very high bar to achieve as it can take years to get inducted. Craig is receiving this honor in the first year of his nomination, which is a strong parallel to his amazing record of winning and coaching excellence.

From his 400+ dual meet victories to founding the Morris County Wrestling Tournament and the North Jersey Youth Wrestling League, Coach Spence’s impact on New Jersey wrestling is truly unmatched.

The Class of 2026 induction to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame (NJ Chapter) will be on Sunday September 27, 2026 at 1pm at the Westin in Princeton NJ. More details to come on this.

However before the formal ceremonies in September, please join us to celebrate all Class of 2026 inductees and support the next generation of athletes at the New Jersey Chapter - National Wrestling Hall of Fame 23rd Annual Golf Outing fundraiser.

See flyer attached here in this post for more details and instructions how to register or donate.
One goal of the chapter’s golf outing is to seek and raise contributions, donations, and gifts to provide wrestling camp and clinic scholarships to deserving youth who seek to improve and enhance their skills in the sport of amateur wrestling. As a result of efforts like this golf outing, the NJ chapter of NWHoF will also make contributions to selected veterans and relief organizations, children’s hospitals such as St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
When: Wednesday, July 22, 2026 (9:00 AM Shotgun Start).

Where: Mercer Oaks Golf Club, West Windsor, NJ.

Cost: $180 per golfer or $75 for dinner only.

The Cause: Proceeds provide wrestling camp scholarships for deserving youth and support charities like St. Jude’s, the Ronald McDonald House, and Make-A-Wish.
