Around The Dinner Table Established in 2015, Around the Dinner Table started off simply as a family recipe book. I have many recipes that need to be measured to taste.

As of today, it has grown to become a full-fledged, family owned and operated business that seeks to guide individuals looking to start a culinary business A mother leaves a legacy for her daughters, but families leave love to feed their generation. I was never given measurements. I just remembered what it tasted like and added ingredients until I got it right. That's what made these meals enjoyab

le and gave us something to talk about around the dinner table. There is always a way home, and it is with good food and love. The doors are always open at the family dinner table.

Honoring Black History Month by recognizing the leaders who have shaped efforts to address food insecurity in Black communities and beyond. For generations, Black leaders, organizers, farmers, educators, and nonprofit pioneers have understood that access to nourishing food is foundational to health, opportunity, and dignity. Through mutual aid, community gardens, food programs, and advocacy, they created pathways to nourishment and stability, even in the face of deep inequities.

As we serve South Florida, we are proud to carry forward this legacy by working to reduce hunger and expand access to nutritious food for families, seniors, and children across our region. Out of 30+ utilities in Broward and Palm Beach counties, our drinking water received top marks for taste, odor, color, and clarity—a first in the competition’s history.
