We are deeply saddened to inform you all that the International Academy of Film and Television - Miami campus closed its doors on Wednesday, April 3, 2014.

We would like to assure you that the closing has no bearing on the validity of all IAFT-Miami issued Certificates and Diplomas.

For those of you who have not completed your Certificate or Diploma program, you may continue at one of our 5 other campuses (Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Belgium, Hong Kong, Cebu). You will also have lifetime access and support from IAFT's Global Alumni Network.

The 50/50 scholarship grants successful applicants a tuition reduction of 50% for both our Introduction & Advanced filmmaking and Advanced on Camera Film Acting programs.

SCHOLARSHIPS REQUIREMENTS

- Applicants must have a high level of motivation to train for a career in film and or acting.
- Applicants must complete the scholarship application.
- Applicants must submit a copy of their High School Diploma/GED or highest level of education.
- Applicants must submit 1 letter of recommendation from a teacher and or employer.

Congratulations and best of luck to Mark Gary, IAFT Cebu Cinematography Mentor on his recent nomination for Indie Movie Cinematographer of the Year.

Mark's outstanding work on the movie Sonata will be officially recognised at the 30th PMPC STAR AWARDS FOR MOVIES next month.The live event will be held on the Sunday 9th March and aired on ABS-CBN the following Sunday March 16th.

Sonata has received several nominations including Indie Movie Director of the Year and Indie Movie Editor of the Year. So all the best to everyone up for awards.
