Highlands Christian Academy, established in 1965, has been inspiring excellence, integrity, and faith in our preschool through 12th grade students for 50 years! Call us today at 954-421-1747 to schedule a tour of our 27-acre campus and to chat about how HCA may be the place for your student and family! We believe God has uniquely gifted each child with individual skills, abilities, and interests. That’s why we are dedicated to coming alongside parents and assisting in the training of students in all aspects of Christian education and living. HCA, a ministry of Grace Baptist Church, is located in Pompano Beach, Florida.

⭐Congratulations to our top four spellers in 1st-5th grade who will represent Highlands at the Regional Spelling Bee in Hobe Sound later this month! They’ll compete against other students in our region, and the top four will advance to the State Spelling Bee.

A big round of applause to every student who studied diligently and participated in our HCA spelling bees this fall. We are so proud of your hard work, perseverance, and dedication! 📚✨

MIss Bella and our youngest Knights kicked off October with some hands-on science fun!

They explored the different parts of a pumpkin, compared wet and dry textures, and made predictions about whether the pumpkin pieces and seeds would sink or float.

Learning is always more fun when you can get your hands on it! 💙💛

🚒 FIRE SAFETY VISIT 🚒

Our K5–2nd graders had a great time learning about fire safety this week with our community firefighters!

They got an up-close look at the fire truck while learning about the equipment and how it is used to help keep our community safe. The students also enjoyed a presentation in their classroom with important reminders about fire safety.

Thank you to the Broward Sheriff’s Office for making this visit possible! ❤️ We’re thankful for hands-on opportunities like this to make learning so meaningful!

A special visit for Mrs. Canott’s 2nd grade class! 💙

Their classroom missionary, Dawn Stuart, stopped by to share about her ministry in Papua New Guinea. The students welcomed her, prayed for her, and enjoyed hearing about the work God is doing through her ministry.

What a special opportunity to learn more about missions right in their own classroom!
