Day three of our Hammer making class. Students finished grinding their hammers to final shape and finish and the Hammers were quenched in oil to harden. Students will take the Hammers home temper them in their oven and then return to have them handled.

Day two of our Hammer making class. Students are done forging the hammers. Tomorrow they will grind the Hammers and heat treat

First night of our 3-day Hammer making class. Started with 3 in Long 2-in round 4140 Steel. Students finished punching the eyes of their Hammer today tomorrow they will finish forging the shape of their hammer and begin grinding and then heat treating
