Name: Adrian Arrastia

Graduated from Coconut Creek High School. Pursuing a career in Materials Engineering, a multidisciplinary field, combining his interest in computer aided design, electrical engineering, and additive manufacturing such as 3D printing and welding to create new materials for the future.

Brinker Initiative Class of 2018 STEM Scholarship recipient, Alejandra Vierres.

She writes:

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a passion for science, especially Chemistry. For this reason, I will attend the FIU Honors College this Fall, majoring in this science.

Along with my major, I will also be taking teaching classes that allow me to graduate with an S.T.E.M. teaching certificate.

Consequently, I will apply to Medicine or Pharmacy School.
