Add/Drop Period for Fall 2022 will start Monday, August 15 at 8 a.m. Here's what you need to know:
*️⃣Add/Drop Period is an opportunity for you to add to your schedule or drop courses without receiving Ws. For Fall 2022, it begins August 15 at 8 a.m. and ends September 8 at 11:59 p.m.
*️⃣You'll be able to enroll in up to 18 units (a bump up from general registration's 16-unit limit), and waitlist a max of 10 units. Remember that waitlisted units count toward your limit.
*️⃣Before dropping any courses, review the Enrollment Requirements for Financial Aid page (link in bio) so you are aware of how the changes might impact your financial aid for the term.
*️⃣Once Add/Drop ends, you will not be able to add classes. You'll be able to drop classes, but you'll receive Ws on your transcript. Visit Student Success Central's Academic Calendar for withdrawal period dates.
*️⃣The waitlists are running regularly, so keep tabs on your Class Schedule. You can view your waitlist position in the list view of your Class Schedule. Continue to check your CPP email regularly during these next few weeks, and as always DM us if you have questions.
*️⃣If you need help, we’ll be available in-person (Student Services Building, first floor, blue counter) and our Zoom drop-in queue will be open. Head to www.cpp.edu/bac for the link.

Here are the 3 things you need to know tonight:
1️⃣ If you’re coming to campus, remember to submit your Daily Health Screener. It takes less than 5 minutes and helps CPP with our contact tracing. There are three places to get the link: your MyCPP portal, the CPP mobile app or the Safer Return website.
2️⃣ You have exactly 14 days to submit your 2022-23 FAFSA or CA Dream Act application: the priority filing deadline is March 2. If you want to be considered for grants, loans or work study and haven’t submitted an app yet, put this at the top of your to do list. Head to your CPP email and search for messages from Financial Aid & Scholarships for more info.
3️⃣ If you haven’t downloaded the CPP mobile app, download it in your phone’s App Store. You can grab the campus map easily, get quick links to campus info, take your daily health screener and even opt into parking alerts (click on the person icon in the top right, and click on Messages to opt in.)

In light of the recent wave of COVID-19 infections, CPP will move to temporary remote instruction for the first three weeks of the spring semester, which begins Jan. 22.
This temporary delay allows the university to significantly decrease campus density during what is expected to be the crest of the surge caused by the Omicron variant. Barring any further direction by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, approved in-person classes will proceed starting Feb.12.

Broncos, just wanted to share a message from our friends in IT to be extra vigilant for email scams during the holiday season. Remember to:
💻 Think before you click because if it looks too good to be true, it probably is
💰 Research all requests for donations and don't provide donations via cash, gift cards or by wiring money
⌨️ Lock down your login with unique passwords and two-factor authentication, when possible
💳 Don't respond to emails about checks from the government or requests to purchase gift cards
🕵️♀️ Report any suspicious emails you get at your CPP email to [email protected]
