What can a history degree teach you about winning a lawsuit? Turns out, quite a lot. ⚖️📚
For CPP alum Louie Ruis (‘11, history), the research, evidence analysis, and critical thinking skills he developed in the CPP history department as a student paved the way for his career as an attorney.
Today, Ruiz has two law offices in Ontario and Los Angeles, where he and his firm do pro bono work for Catholic nuns and other clients in need. Additionally, Ruiz is paying it forward to CPP through his active role in the CPP Latin Alumni Association and giving to the Hilda Solis Scholarship Fund to help CPP students achieve their goals.
