We’re so excited to welcome our Broncos back for the fall semester! 🐎💚💛

It was incredible to see campus come back to life as we welcomed new students during New Student Convocation and connected with Broncos at the Resource Fair. From discovering campus resources to building new connections, the energy and excitement across campus made for a great start to the academic year.

The Office of Academic Innovation recently gathered for a special celebration luncheon to honor Dr. Olukemi Sawyerr and celebrate the incredible legacy she leaves behind. 💚💛

A highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of a custom commemorative piece showcasing the history and growth of OAI. Created through a collaboration between the Student Innovation Idea Labs technicians and OAI’s graphic design intern, the artwork features a tree symbolizing OAI’s growth, with its roots paying homage to the organization’s beginnings in the iLab in Building 98.

Thank you, Dr. Sawyerr, for your visionary leadership, mentorship, and unwavering commitment to innovation and student success. Your impact on our campus and community will continue to grow for years to come.

This year’s Summer Conference brought together educators and innovators to explore the future of teaching and learning in the age of AI and what an incredible two days it was!

The conference featured inspiring keynote speakers, interactive workshops and collaborative discussions that empowered attendees with practical strategies for integrating artificial intelligence while keeping human connection and student success at the center.

A huge thank you to our presenters, attendees and everyone who helped make this year’s conference such a memorable and impactful experience. We can’t wait to see how these ideas continue to shape teaching, learning and innovation across higher education.
