Summer Transition Program:
The PolyTransfer Summer Transition Program is a multi-day event focused on providing incoming transfer students with relevant workshops and academic lectures focused on helping them make a seamless transition into their academic journey at CPP. Workshops:
PolyTransfer hosts academic workshops throughout each semester focused on a variety of areas including: applying for graduate school, managing your academic workload, and preparing for exams like the Graduate Writing Test (GWT). Within each workshop we infuse opportunities to build community with other transfers while also offering events like our Fall Transfer Welcome where opportunities to connect are part of the agenda! Mentorship Program:
The PolyTransfer Program has selected 9 continuing transfer students to fulfill roles as Peer Mentors for 120 newly admitted transfer students throughout their first academic year at CPP. They facilitate 1:1 and group check-ins with their mentees throughout the year.
