Dear Families of Pomona Unified Schools,

We would like to invite you to our 15th Annual Family Learning Conference, which is brought to you in partnership between Pomona Unified and the University of La Verne, with the support of the Webb Family Foundation, targeting families with children from preschool through 8th grade.

This year, our event will be held virtually, via Zoom, on Saturday, April 24, from 8:45 am-12:30 pm. Please join us for fun presentations and workshops designed to support literacy learning in the home. We have authors who will come to talk about their books, including John Archambalt (author of Chicka-Chicka Boom Boom), and two child authors who have each published a book. We even have a puppeteer!

Most importantly, this Conference is ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!!!

Attached is the flyer, which has a link for registration (also included below).
We will send a link to join the conference to all those who register the week before the event.

Please join us for a day of fun and prizes for attending the workshops. AND, for Pomona students only, each child that attends will get a bag of free books at their grade level that they can pick up at their school a week or two after the event.

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic PCS Family Services will be co-hosting on Monday, April 5th in the AMOCA parking lot (SE corner of W. Center St. and N. Main St.).

They will have capacity for 450 vaccines and will be providing BOTH Pfizer and Moderna.

Your student will receive a Grab ‘n Go meal when they leave campus on the days they attend school.
