Sword Zen - Path of Spiritual Refinement and Self Realization Path of Spiritual Refinement and Self-Realization through the way of the sword Jian (劍) is the Emperor of all Weapons. It is the orderly behavior.

In ancient China, only high ranking officials, generals or people with high virtue were qualified to wear Jian. Jian is considered the most difficult weapon to master. It requires the consistency of intention, Qi(energy) and movement. The spirit of the Sword, whether in ancient or modern, is also in line with what is defined in the Book of Rites Datong chapter "Etiquette". A swordsman must possess the spirit of sword, follow the rule and be a benevolent being. Sword in nature is a symbol of just. A supreme swordsman is also a philosopher of life. One must attain no desire to kill with sword in hand and a wisdom sword in our soul without sword in hand. The wisdom sword in our soul is the spiritual force, the energy, to get rid of the demon in our own heart in order to attain our own self nature.
