💉🍊 Practice makes progress!

Last week, our 1st- and 2nd-year students got hands-on at an Injection Workshop with Dr. Stephen Wan. Students practiced the proper techniques for loading, sanitizing, drawing, and injecting—using oranges as their practice patients! 😄

A little practice now goes a long way toward building confidence and skill. 🧡

🦴✍️ Learning anatomy… with a little creativity!

Last week, DPM 2030 got hands-on at the LEA Osteology & Joints Workshop with faculty and inaugural alumna Dr. Adrienne Estes, DPM ’13!

She led a lecture provided by Dr. Saba Sadra before students put their knowledge to work using 3D pens to create and identify ligaments of the foot and ankle.

A fun way to review some essential anatomy—and yes, there were some pretty creative 3D ligaments! 😄🦶
