: Meet Jack Abeid, a rising senior pursuing a dual B.S. in finance and accounting with an expected graduation date of Spring '27.

Jack is actively involved in Bronco Asset Management (BAM), CPP's Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF), where he serves as the Fixed Income and Financials Sector Analyst. He has also held multiple executive board positions within Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, developing leadership skills both inside and outside the classroom.

Last summer, Jack gained valuable industry experience as an intern in International Wealth Management with The Pacific Bridge Companies.

His favorite class has been with Professor Tomkoria, where he helps manage a real-money endowment portfolio valued at more than $700,000. Some of his favorite campus experiences have come from staying late with classmates to build financial models, develop investment pitches and present investment recommendations.

Outside of school, Jack enjoys going to the gym, running, and following baseball as a devoted Boston Red Sox fan. He's also a member of The Ability Experience, a nonprofit organization that raises funds and awareness for children with disabilities.

After graduation, Jack plans to pursue a career in asset management with a focus on institutional client solutions.

๐ŸŒ Meet Jaclyn Randolph, a Business Administration student with a concentration in Marketing Management, and a Marketing Student Assistant for the College of Business Administration!

This summer, Jaclyn traveled across Italy with the , exploring some of the country's most iconic destinations, including Venice, Florence, Rome, Vatican City, and the Colosseum. Through visits to historic landmarks, museums, churches, and cultural sites, she gained a deeper understanding of Italyโ€™s art, history, and cultural influence around the world.

Outside of the classroom, Jaclyn serves as Director of Public Relations for D2C, where she leads marketing campaigns, develops promotional content, and collaborates with local businesses and organizations to increase engagement and strengthen brand awareness.

"My favorite part of the trip was experiencing places I had only seen in textbooks and photos. Being able to walk through centuries of history while making new friends was an unforgettable experience. I am so grateful to Dr. Garcia and Dr. Haakenson for facilitating this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!"

Spotlight: Meet Egor Dobrolyubov (โ€˜28, Marketing Management, CIS Minor)

Egor is a sophomore majoring in Marketing Management with a minor in Computer Information Systems. On campus, he serves as Director of Events and Partnerships for the American Marketing Association (AMA) and has been selected as the next Main Director of Direct 2 Connect (D2C) for the upcoming school year.

Outside of campus, Egor works at Tommy Bahama in the Brea Mall and is exploring opportunities to intern with The Builder Market. His favorite class so far has been Principles of Marketing Management with Professor Maha Ghosn, whose energy and dedication to her students made a lasting impact on his experience at CPP.

Some of Egorโ€™s favorite memories at Cal Poly Pomona include attending Bronco Fusion 2026, featuring Swae Lee, and the 2026 CBARN event, where he connected with fellow business students and built meaningful friendships. Outside the classroom, Egor enjoys working out with friends and playing pickup soccer. A fun fact about him: he was born in Moscow, Russia, moved to New York at the age of five, and is fluent in both English and Russian. After graduation, Egor plans to pursue a career in the corporate world with aspirations of becoming a product manager in the tech industry.

: Meet Sineem Majeed, a business marketing sophomore graduating in Spring 2028.

Sineem is actively involved across campus, serving as director of social media for both the American Marketing Association (AMA) and D2C Agency, vice president of communications for Zeta Tau Alpha and a member of the Lebanese Student Association.

She has gained hands-on experience as an influencer and UGC seeding intern for Gutya and as a social media manager for The Dungeon Lagree studio, with plans to intern at a law firm in Irvine this summer. One of her favorite classes has been Business Communications and credits Dr. Laura Pohopien for bringing energy and real-world marketing insight into the classroom.

Her favorite experiences include leading a marketing campaign for Outpost Coffee through D2C, building friendships and learning from faculty.

Outside of campus, she enjoys lagree and pilates, fashion, traveling, trying matcha cafes and spending time with family and friends. She is trilingual in English, Arabic, and Spanish and is certified to teach lagree.

After graduation, she plans to earn her MBA, pursue a career in luxury brand marketing and hopes to live in Paris.

Last Friday, we celebrated students of the Singelyn Graduate School of Business with a hooding ceremony. The hooding ceremony marks an important milestone as students complete their graduate journey and prepare for the next chapter ahead.
