Taking a 1/4" x 1" x 5" bar of 1084 through the whole sequence! 🛠️🔥
Forged it, profile ground it, reforged it, ground it, stamped it, austenitized it at ~1500°F in Fred, quenched it in canola oil, tempered it in Wilma at 430°F, and brought it home to a final finish.
Thin-steel heat treating at its finest. Catch the complete build from raw stock to finished blade!
