Bulldog Digital Media is growing and we can’t wait to see what all they accomplish this year! 💚📸

Exciting things are happening in the CTE department at Central High School, specifically the expansion of the Bulldog Digital Media program. We love having members of the community use the track! 👟💚🏃

During the week, please note that the track is open to the public from 4:00 pm - 7:00 am. The lights at the track turn off at 10:00 pm.

We’ve been introducing new staff, but now we want to recognize and highlight staff members who received shoutouts on the end of the year survey from parents and students!

Up first is Officer Coats! He is one of our School Resource Officers, the Law Enforcement teacher, and the advisor for the Criminal Justice Organization!

A student said, “Officer Coats is beyond phenomenal at teaching his subject and committing to the duties of the CJO Organization…even when he may go off track, it is almost, if not always, about something that is helpful in life whether it is regarding law or not.”

He received praise from many other students and parents for his willingness to help and go above and beyond the call of duty!

This picture highlights how Officer Coats is ALL IN! He is consistently interacting with students, encouraging participation, and helping students reach their full potential. 💚

🚗 Arrival & Dismissal Traffic Reminder 🚗

Parents, we want to clarify our traffic flow at the Elementary so that arrival and dismissal can run as safely and smoothly as possible.

MAIN ENTRANCE – Right Side from Hwy 69
✅ AM: ALL car rider drop-off
✅ PM: Pre-K–4th grade students who have siblings on the Elementary campus

CAFE ENTRANCE – Left Side from Hwy 69
🚌 Staff parking & bus loading
✅ PM ONLY: 3rd & 4th grade car riders who do NOT have siblings on the Elementary campus

🚫 Please remember: AM car rider drop-off is NOT allowed through the Cafe Entrance. This side is for buses and staff only in the mornings.

Staff Spotlight 💚

We are excited to spotlight two ladies who are no strangers to the district! Karen Shumaker and Donna Graham are serving as Instructional Coaches this school year. Between the two of them, they have almost 90 years of experience in education!

The wisdom, knowledge, and passion they share with educators this year will help us continually improve!
