Update on today’s Fire It is out! Nice work PVFD especially our retired members😎 We had great response time but These types of fires are brutal. Once they get into the trees It’s a whole new game we had mutual aid from Herried to assist Thanks for coming over and helping out, especially on these hot days. Just a reminder if you have a problem do not hesitate to call 911 5 to 10 minutes is huge on response time this time of year especially. Thanks everybody for your continued support PVFD👨‍🚒

Aprox 4:20 this afternoon PVFD were paged to a grass fire 2 miles North of Po***ck. Fire was was quickly supressed fire fighters were on scene for aprox 2 hours. We are headed into some serious conditions with little or no rain and triple digit heat again this weekend it takes very little ignition source we understand work must go on all we ask is do not delay call 911 immediately. The faster we get notified the quicker we can have it knocked down and contained.Thank you PVFD👩‍🚒👨‍🚒🧑🏽‍🚒🔥🇺🇸🚨

Special thanks to The women’s Legion auxiliary along with the Po***ck fire department on the open house we had last Friday afternoon. We honored past veterans and current and present fireman. We also were able to give some nice prizes away and along with that we provided fire truck rides to all the kids. The PVFD would like to thank everybody that stopped by for the open house and that showed their support. We will be doing another open house this fall for all of you that missed this one. There is also some pictures in here of all the other fire departments that were in the local parade .Shout out to larry Jacobson for working extra time in the firehall with cleanup and last-minute organization !✌🏼👨‍🚒🧑🏽‍🚒👩‍🚒🔥🇺🇸🚨🚨🚨

1st annual “Bobbers” private fishing tournament was put on by the Gunderson family and friends this past weekend in memory of Bobby Gunderson. Everyone came out a winner in this tournament, including the PVFD as this great group of people decided to donate their winnings in the amount of $3000 to the PVFD presenting the check to Todd Moser is Ryan Gunderson Bob’s son.On behalf of the PVFD we thank you guys! A reminder to the public we are finishing up a couple details on construction and look forward to our open house over the 125 celebration, which will be held in July. We will give more details as it gets closer. Thanks for your support✌🏼
