Diamond Valley, River Oaks, Valley Oaks, and Vernon E. Greer Elementary Schools experienced great days last week thanks to a terrific team of teachers dedicated to their students and the cabin leaders. These schools brought amazing students and chaperones. Thank you to all who attended.

Teachers from Golden Empire, Merry Hill, Rio Valley, Valley View Charter Montessori and Walnut Grove brought some students up last week for a full springtime experience at Sly Park. The moon was perfect for telescope night on these long days.

Students in Mr. Gio’s class were gifted the opportunity to see a black bear in a Douglas Fir tree while hiking through Children’s Forest today. This! Is outdoor science education!

Spring flowers and pollinators can't compare to the flavor and fun students and teachers bring each week to Sly Park. Thank you to Cesar Chavez, Carroll, and Westfield Village Elementary schools for being part the fun! Most students in California do not get the opportunity to attend Outdoor Education for a full week unless they are supported by teachers and families willing to put in hours of work.

Who knows what kids like?
Who know what kids want? The Sly Park Cafe does!
Sly Park Cafe serves up GREAT food every day for the students to help power them through the week! They accommodate several different dietary needs each meal without missing a beat. Don't worry adults, there is a salad bar, coffee, and tea to power you through the week as well!

Please note...so many more people keep this dining hall going but it is hard to get them together at the same time.
