the best kind of art happens when you give kids a few supplies and let them go to town. we trimmed some of the landscaping yesterday so I snagged some of the trimmings and kept a few boxes from recycling to set up an art station in the woods for our preschoolers.

tonight we got to say THANK YOU with a pizza & pool party for our amazing teachers and their families 🍕🏊‍♀️

summer is busy around here! extra kids, field trips + fun activities, and a lot of schedule juggling… it takes all hands on deck and a whole lot of teamwork.

we appreciate everything they do to make summer so much fun for the kids! we have the best team and couldn’t do it without all of our teachers

spent yesterday afternoon at the Polk County 4-H and FFA Fair Association livestock auction so that we could purchase our next steer and hog from a couple of neighbor kids. not only are we supporting local but we are also supporting kids that are learning & working hard at raising livestock. we’re proud to support local and serve locally raised beef & pork.

Small town parade? You betcha!🎈

We handed out 3,500+ goodies and saw so many smiles from kids and adults along the route. Another successful year of parading in the books!

Then we’ll see you at the parade Saturday morning!

Start your engines! Race on down to the Square on June 26th for our Four Seasons Festival of Polk City Movie in the Park: Cars! A special guest will be present at 8 PM to meet before the show begins at 8:30 PM. Lakeside Fellowship will be serving FREE popcorn during the movie for you to enjoy! Imagine if… CLOSED…

Today we participated in Day Without Child Care to help bring awareness to the critical role early childhood educators and child care programs play in supporting families, communities, and the economy.

Families may have noticed our “closed” signs posted on the front door today. While our doors remained open, the signs were intended to encourage everyone to pause and reflect on an important question: What would happen if dependable child care was not available?

We also shared stickers with families that read, “I’m at work because my child care provider is at work.” A simple but powerful reminder that child care providers are truly the workforce behind the workforce.
