“One candle can light a thousand other candles & still remain lit itself, be that candle”

I have remained silent as I gather information, learn & understand but I hope my silence will not be mistaken for ignorance. This practice that I love is something I have learned & borrowed from a magical place I have been lucky enough to experience. While those of us with access to clean water, PPE, critical medical supplies & have the luxury of social distancing are able to return to a semi-normal life, India still needs our help. As cases rise, India is facing shortages in Oxygen supplies, ICU beds & medication.

Yoga is my passion, it’s what keeps me grounded when my world is falling apart. So even though I don’t have the largest platform, I am here to do what I can, I have made donations to any class donations for the next few months will support India

Hope to see you tomorrow at 5:30pm MT / 7:30 EST. Also planning to add some 8am EST classes this month, let’s flow & give back together! 🧘🏼‍♀️ 💛

It might not always feel like it, but the choice is yours. You can choose to let the darkness of the world consume you, or you can choose to seek out the light. Get outside, read a book instead of watching the news, reach out to a loved one, listen to your favorite song, find whatever brings you joy and release and go there instead. It’s not always easy, but I will try to shine mine for you today and everyday.

“The trick to finishing a thing is starting the thing and showing up for it each day, at around the same time, with some kind of will. Everything has the potential to shock you with its progress. To bloom, to change state.” -

Thank you for showing up, thank you for giving me a reason to show up. Flow with me tomorrow at 5:30 pm MST (7:30 pm EST)

How to Breathe When You Want to Give Up

Today I am breathing through fatigue, fear and feeling overwhelmed.

I breathe because when I breathe, I am reminded that I am alive.

I am reminded that to be able to fill my body with air means that I have the ability to keep going.

I am reminded that my time on earth may be short, but it can be powerful if I dedicate it to love and fairness.

When I breathe, I am reminded of Mary Oliver when she wrote: “tell me what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”

So I breathe. And I let my breath turn into a smile that says back to her: “as much as I can.” 💛
