Today, our 8th grade students tapped the future of our organization. They did a beautiful job with the entire ceremony, and I am very proud of them and their hard work.

We inducted 14 7th graders into our chapter today, and I can't wait to see what they accomplish in the coming year. Their futures are bright, and I know they will make the organization proud.

What did we do over break? We began tackling our group community service project for this year by painting the 8th grade hallway.

Each year, our organization tries to complete a major group community service project that is somehow tied to academics. When asked if we would be willing to paint the 7th, 8th, and 9th grade hallways, we almost instantly agreed. Although we didn't get as much finished as we had hoped, we think it looks better. (When you see our work in person, please remember that we are a group of junior high students and not professional painters. šŸ«£)
