These surf events are so terrific for our Special Needs kids. This group has Friday & Saturday slots and it’s well worth it to take a day off to spend with the family at the beach! Now is the time to start looking for these types of events they fill FAST!

This sweet girl is the daughter of one our School district’s Custodians who also lives in town. Her parents are finding out how expensive and overwhelming raising a Special Needs child can be as so many of us already know! Did you all realize each NJ school district is required to have a Special Education Parent group that interacts with the District’s Administration? Point Pleasant SEPAC is that group and we are looking for some parent volunteers who would like to affect change for our district children’s educations.

TOPSoccer is the OutReach Program for Soccer for players with special needs
PPSC is a State of NJ Recognized TOPSoccer

WHEN: Saturdays Sept 17th – Nov12th
WHERE: Antrim Stadium Fields
(Located at Antrim Elementary School
401 Niblick Street, Point Pleasant Beach)

TIME: 12:45pm-1:45pm
Players Ages 4 to 13

1:45pm to 2:45pm
Players Ages 14 and up

We are looking for Volunteers ages 14 and up to support our players on the field. Coaches are TOPSoccer certified and several of our older buddies are also. We will guide and teach our new buddies
Please email Coach Deb if you are interested in helping out. Buddies need to arrive by 12:30 to set-up the fields and help with clean-up. Buddies are welcome to come to either of the sessions or help out at both, our younger players need the most help. You can receive volunteer hours if you become a Buddy for one of your Special Needs peers!

Those of you who know & love SEPAC also know Sarah as our Yoga instructor who gives freely of her time for all of our children.

She herself is a parent like us and any help anyone can offer is appreciated. You may not realize she’s in each of the Point Pleasant schools teaching our kids about mindfulness and peace.
