The mission of the PTO is to enhance the student experience while at Pocopson Elementary School.

The countdown to the new school year is on, and we want to help our newest students connect before the first day! Join us on the playground to share a popsicle, meet fellow kindergarten families, and say meet the PTO team.

It’s the perfect casual afternoon for your student to explore the playground and make a few familiar faces for day one!

Kindergarten Popsicle Playdate: Drop by the PES playground for treats and fun!

Kindergarten Popsicle Playdate: Another afternoon meetup on the playground.

☀️ Thursday, August 27th | Big PES Orientation Day!
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Kindergarten Popsicle Playdate
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Kindergarten & New Student Orientation (Parents presentation + student tour & bus ride)
2:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Grades 1–5 Sneak-A-Peek (2:30–3:00 PM for A–M | 3:00–3:30 PM for N–Z)

Incoming Kindergarten families, the countdown is officially on! Join us on the Pocopson playground for a cold treat, friendly faces, and a fun-filled afternoon.

This is the perfect, low-key chance for your rising student to explore the playground, burn off some energy, and make a few new friends before the first day of school. Plus, members of the PTO team will be on hand to answer questions and say hello!
