A new Judging certification event has just been announced! Location will be at Vaughn's Dojang in Audubon, PA. All participants have been invited by KCN Vaughn to participate in a black belt class afterwards as well. More details are on the Region 8 website.
Who is eligible?
Scorekeeper/Timekeepers much at at least 14 years of age and a Cho Dan Bo or higher. Or they may be at least 16 years of age and a 5th gup or above. Sk/Tk must take a written and practical examination to pass.
Corner Judges must be a certified sk/tk or have previously sk/tk in at least one sanctioned tournament; they must be a current Dan member and pass the written/practical exam.
Center Judges must be a Dan member, judged at 3 tournaments as a corner judge (not sk/tk), have a signed judging log, and pass the physical/written examination.
International Judges need to be Dan members, judge at 3 championships with a judging log; one of these three must be an international event. They also must pass the written and practical test.
