We had such a great time hitting the road for the Pocomoke City Schools Bus Tour for our new teachers! It was an incredible opportunity to connect with our families, meet members of our community, and celebrate the start of another exciting school year.

We were especially excited to give away more than 300 book bags filled with school supplies to local families! 🎒✏️📓 We are so grateful to everyone who came out and helped make the day such a success.

A HUGE shoutout to the Pocomoke High School Drumline for bringing the energy and keeping us moving with some amazing music! 🥁🔥

This is what being a Warrior community is all about—showing up, giving back, and starting the school year together!

As we get ready for another exciting school year at Pocomoke Middle School, I wanted to share a few books from my summer reading list! Every story has something to teach us—about leadership, perseverance, relationships, success, and the power of believing in ourselves.
My goal this summer is simple: keep learning, keep growing, and keep reading! 📖

I hope our students and families will find a book that sparks their curiosity and gives them something to think about. Whether you read for 10 minutes or 100 pages, every page counts!

As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, we're excited to highlight schools welcoming new members to their administrative teams.

Please join us in welcoming the Pocomoke Middle School leadership team! Joseph Stigler returns as principal, and Elizabeth Berry returns as assistant principal. They are joined by Kristin Cashman, who is new to the Pocomoke Middle School administrative team as assistant principal.

We were so excited to see the incredible support from the Pocomoke community at our cookout at the courts this afternoon! It was wonderful to spend time together, connect with our families, and enjoy some fun in our community. 🏀🌭☀️

Most of all, we were excited to see YOU! Your support means so much to our students and staff, and we are grateful for the strong sense of community that makes Pocomoke so special.

We are counting down the days until the halls of Pocomoke Middle School are filled with our students again! We can’t wait for the new school year, new memories, and another great year together.

Our students had a wonderful time learning with Diamond from the UMES Extension & 4-H! During this engaging, hands-on lesson, students explored the world of herbs—learning what herbs are, how they're used, and why they're an important part of cooking and healthy living.

To top it all off, students put their new knowledge into practice by creating their own delicious Caprese salad skewers featuring tomatoes, mozzarella, and fresh basil. It was a fun way to combine science, agriculture, nutrition, and culinary skills into one exciting experience!

A huge thank you to Diamond and the UMES Extension Office for partnering with us and providing our students with such an enriching opportunity. We love bringing real-world, hands-on learning experiences to our students!
