Free Dental Sealants for Greenacres Elementary Students!!!

Helping Idaho Children Prevent Cavities

Pocatello, Idaho (2/19/2026) – Beginning 3/3/2026, Greenacres Elementary, 1st, 2nd and 5th graders can receive free dental sealants and fluoride varnish on-site at school through Delta Dental of Idaho's Grins on the Go program.

Dental sealants are essential: they fill the deep grooves of a child’s back teeth, where 90% of childhood cavities occur. The fluoride varnish provides extra protection for smooth tooth surfaces.

Grins on the Go clinics take place on-site at schools as part of Delta Dental of Idaho’s Community Outreach efforts.

To receive these FREE cavity prevention treatments, children must attend Greenacres Elementary and have a signed health history and permission form from a parent or guardian. Permission forms are available at the school.

The Grins on the Go clinic is entirely free—there is no cost, and the program does not bill Medicaid or private insurance.

Greenacres Elementary Pocatello in the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25 is non-rural, K-5 school that enrolls around 300 students.

This t-shirt was accompanied by a letter from Community Resource Worker Delilah Williams, LSW, CRW, who highlighted a few aspects of her school’s culture.

“Learning and good things happen every day.”

“Families are supported by access to food, school supplies ad extra supports if needed during the school year.”

Last year, testing kicked off with “the students being taught how to line dance... Greenacres has a wonderful talent show, field day, career day, science fair and so much more.” Delilah also wrote that “an added bonus at the school is that the principal, Mr. Wilson, is bilingual and you can often hear him talking with parents in Spanish.”
