🎀 Celebrating Our Graduates During Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🎀

Many of our graduates have gone on to pursue specialized training in mammography, breast sonography, and oncology, making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients through their work in breast health.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re proud to celebrate these graduates and recognize the vital work they do every day to support early detection, promote breast health, and care for our communities. 💗

✨ Meet Maria Salas, a 2024 Radiologic Sciences graduate! Maria was recently interviewed during Portneuf’s annual Break for Breakfast event, highlighting the important work being done to raise awareness and support breast cancer prevention and detection.

We are so proud of Maria and all our graduates who are making a difference in this important field! 💕🩷

Early Wednesday morning, cars lined up around the block to receive a free breakfast and goodie bag from Portneuf Medical Center, driving through a line of pink balloons to raise awareness for breast cancer. The "Brake for Breakfast" event is in its 27th year, with the goal remaining to encourage wom...

Last weekend, Chris and his all-star team competed in the LoToJa Classic. This bicycle relay starts in Logan, UT and ends in Jackson Hole, WY. The gruelling 207 mile trek travels winds mountains and valleys and subjects participants to unpredictable elements and a variety of altitude changes. Congratulations to Chris on his best time ever despite a strong cross-wind! You make us proud!

Shout out to the ISU Diagnostic Medical Sonography Students. 4 of them, Stephanie Carrillo, Mia Sorensen, Nicole Sacco, and Emily Mickelsen took their ARDMS SPI board exam today. This is the National physics test that is dreaded by many. The overall pass rate in the U.S. is 65%. You have to get a 79.3% (555 out of 700) to pass. These students not only passed, but passed with HIGH SCORES. Stephanie even got a 97% 🤯(she gave permission to share that). We cannot express how amazing they are and how proud we are of them. Also, applause to Chelsie for skillfully teaching them such challenging content! This is a huge accomplishment!
