Idaho State University Bengal Newspaper The Bengal Newspaper is an entirely student-run publication put out monthly for the students of ISU and the Pocatello community.

Join us here, on Instagram and on our website isubengal.com! The Bengal has entered its 114th year of publishing news on the campus. Since that time, we have stayed the only newspaper on campus that is published for students, by students, every Wednesday during the school year.

Outside Frazier Hall, the trees are in full bloom. Campus lots are beginning to fill up with out-of-state license plates as students in their caps and gowns take pictures in front of university signage. All this can only mean one thing, Bengals – it’s grad season once again.

“My husband, who’s a professor in business, and I have talked about this a lot,” says Sue Anderson, associate dean and director of the School of Nursing. “He said, ‘Your nursing students have the most responsibility of any student on campus. If my business students screw up, somebody may lose some money. If your nursing students don’t know what they’re doing, they can kill someone.’”

Place the peanut butter, chocolate syrup, and a little milk into a blender and blend until smooth. Add the remaining milk and ice cream and blend again for three or four seconds. Pour into a tall glass, top with a dollop of whipped cream, and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
