A patient recently shared something that I think many people with LPR can relate to.
After completing my reflux course, she experienced nearly a year of significant symptom improvement. Then, over time, some symptoms began to return.
Like many patients, her first thought was that a new supplement or medication might be responsible.
But after taking a closer look at her habits, she realized that some of her dietary triggers had slowly worked their way back into her routine.
This is one of the most important lessons I teach patients:
Reflux symptoms often return the same way they improve—gradually.
Most people are not derailed by a single meal. More often, it's the accumulation of small choices over weeks and months.
The good news is that once she recognized the pattern and returned to the habits that had helped her heal, she began noticing improvement again.
Success with LPR isn't about perfection. It's about consistency.
