We hope this site will help you reconnect and stay connected with your alma mater. The ISU Alumni Association exists to provide a lifelong two-way connection between alumni and their university. It acts as the guardian of tradition, keeps members informed about their alma mater and their fellow alumni, provides opportunities for alumni to get together in social and educational settings, and promot

es the needs of the university and its students. Every current and former ISU student who has accumulated at least 24 credits has FREE membership in the Alumni Association. Founded in 1906, the Alumni Association is governed by a board of directors that meets three times a year. Day-to-day operations are handled by a full-time staff of five at the Office of Alumni Relations located in the H.F.

From Bengal to Hall of Famer. 🐯🏈

Jared Allen is one of Idaho State University’s most accomplished football alumni and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

After winning the Buck Buchanan Award and Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year at ISU, Allen went on to a legendary 12-year NFL career. He recorded 136 career sacks, led the NFL in sacks twice, earned five Pro Bowl selections and four First-Team All-Pro honors, and helped the Carolina Panthers reach Super Bowl 50.

In 2025, Allen’s remarkable career earned him a place among football’s greatest, with his election to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

A Bengal legacy that belongs in the Hall. 🧡🐯

For nearly two decades, Heidi Berry has dedicated her career to Idaho State University and public service. 🧡

Since joining ISU in 2007, Berry has served in leadership and administrative roles across University Relations, Marketing and Communications, University Policy, and the Office of the President—always with a focus on advancing the university’s mission and supporting students, faculty, and staff.

A lifelong learner, she has continued her education while working full time at ISU, pursuing a Master of Public Administration.

Her career reflects a deep commitment to service, growth, and the success of Idaho State University. 🐯

From Idaho State to the Moon! 🌙🧡

Angela Garcia, an Idaho State University alumna with a master’s degree in geology, is an exploration geoscientist and planetary geologist at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. As a Science Officer flight controller and member of the Artemis Science Team, she helps advance NASA’s plans for human exploration of the Moon and beyond.

At ISU, Garcia contributed to NASA’s SUBSEA project, supporting simulated deep-sea exploration and helping lead to the discovery of the previously unknown Apollo Vent Field.

Today, she instructs astronauts in geology and contributes to spacesuits, geology tools, and sample collection systems for future lunar missions.

From Bengal to Artemis—Garcia is helping shape the future of exploration. 🚀🐯

Dr. Marcia L. Lloyd, Professor Emerita of Dance at Idaho State University, transformed dance education at ISU during her 25 years on the faculty. 🧡

She established ISU’s dance minor, founded the student dance company DANSON, and became a nationally recognized leader in dance education. A Fulbright Professor to Malaysia, Dr. Lloyd also served as president of the National Dance Association and was a founding member of the National Dance Education Organization.

Her lifelong contributions have earned numerous honors, including Lifetime Achievement Awards from both the National Dance Education Organization and Idaho Dance Education Organization.

Today, she continues to support ISU student success through the Arthur “AJ” P. Lloyd Jr. Endowment, honoring her son’s memory through scholarships for occupational therapy students.

A legacy of creativity, education, and Bengal pride. 🐯

Glenn Alford dedicated four decades to Idaho State University, becoming a respected voice of Bengal Athletics and a champion for the university and its community. 🧡

From his 31 years as sports information director to his work in University Relations, Alford’s legacy includes the ISU Distinguished Friend Award, honorary induction into the ISU Sports Hall of Fame, and the College Sports Communicators Lifetime Achievement Award. His commitment to service also extended beyond ISU, including his work with the Pocatello NAACP.

A lifetime of leadership, service, and Bengal pride. 🐯

ISU Night with the Chukars On Wed. August 19⚾️🧡

Bring your family, friends and fellow Bengals to the ballpark for a night of baseball, food and Bengal pride!

🎟️ Your ticket includes:
🍔 All-you-can-eat dinner
⚾️ Admission to the game
🧡 A special Bengal gathering in the picnic area

Dinner is served from 6:15–8:15 p.m., with first pitch at 7:05 p.m. Hang out with fellow Bengals in the picnic area or head to your general admission seat whenever you’d like!

👧 Kids 3 and under are free!
