Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Jump Start competition. Multiple high schools competed again this year and Napa Auto Parts sponsored giveaways and prizes.

We are thrilled to congratulate Bryson Hatch, one of our first-year diesel students, on his outstanding achievement of winning 1st place at the Nationals SkillsUSA Heavy Equipment Operation Competition. To reach this competition, Bryson successfully outperformed all other competitors at the state level competition this spring. This past week, Bryson traveled to Atlanta to represent the state of Idaho and our Diesel Tech Program, competing against top-notch opponents from across the nation. Throughout the multi-day competition, which encompassed heavy equipment operation, safety, and professionalism tests, Bryson demonstrated exceptional skill and precision in navigating every aspect of the assigned tasks. Originally from Bancroft, ID, Bryson currently resides in Pocatello, ID, with his wife Tylinn. Notably, Bryson's wife accompanied him to Atlanta, providing support during the competition and sharing in the celebration of his victory. This marks the second consecutive year that one of our Diesel Tech students has earned the privilege of competing at the national level, representing our state in these rigorous competitions. Bryson will now have the opportunity to attend Worldskills and compete against the top competitors from around the world. Congratulations on your impressive achievement, Bryson!
