The Almuni dinner was not only fun but inspirational! Awards to magnificent ISU Alumni, honorable professors, great leaders with the love & support of the Bengal ISU community, faculty, professors, ambassadors, alumni and students! Congratulations to our award recipients!! The words of inspiration, the shared stories and love for family and the support they’ve received from ISU was truly heartfelt and special to hear!🧡🖤

My mother Stevie Murphy-Lomahaftewa made her special appearance here as the former Miss Native Idaho State University 2003-2004! 🧡 I felt so blessed to get to represent together and share moments like these! 🖤 Her art teacher in Jr. High at Alameda, Brent Lowman, who was an Award Recipient made his grand appearance! My mom shared with me his teachings about art, shading and the kindness he has shared with his students! We went to go congratulate him and reminisce, as well as, get to reunite and share gratitude! My mom said, “You know what’s crazy, I was just talking about him the other day. The clouds in Glenwood hugged the mountains down low, in person it’s pretty to see from light to dark and it reminded me of how he shaded his mountains!” So, it was so special to get to meet him and share this altogether!

It was also cool to know Jared Allen is a ISU Bengal Alumni and I had to capture a picture together!

Thank you to everyone who made this an amazing evening and brought us all together to celebrate one another! 🧡🖤🤍

HOCO WEEK!! 🧡GO BENGALS!! 🐅
