Haven’t gotten the chance to post my 61st Annual Shoshone-Bannock Festival 🌹

I got pictures with all the contestants and now newly crowned festival royalty, as well as, the visiting royalties! Amazing smiles and great memories! We also got a picture with our Miss Shoshone-Bannock 25-26 Myke Moore, Thank you for the amazing job you’ve done to represent the Shoshone-bannock Tribes and the community efforts you’ve made on the reservation, out of state and at Idaho State University! I will forever send well wishes and I tip my hat to you my dear friend! ❤️

I would also like to congratulate our newly crowned royalties and our Miss Shoshone Bannock 26-27 Tay’a Osborne! ❣️🌹 May your journey continue to blossom, you’re gonna do amazing! 🌸

I also got a picture the Idaho State Historical Society here at the Shoshone-Bannock Indian Festival! Big smiles and honors!

This was so much fun this year! I got the chance to check out the Skate Competitions this year! Which was awesome to see so much talent, I missed this so much! Congrats to everyone there! 🔥🛹

I have been loving the parades like no tomorrow! It’s awesome getting to see y’all’s beautiful faces on a Saturday morning ready to celebrate and enjoy candy, floats and the kickstart of the day! 🍬🎉

Shoshone Bannock Festival kid’s Parade 2026!!

I am proud to be a Bengal student & a Shoshone-Bannock and getting the opportunity to be apart of two communities that share so much pride!! 🧡❤️

It was absolutely AMAZING the ISU community, faculty, alumni, future students and students came out and walked in their ISU gear giving out T-shirts & candy today at the kid’s parade! 🍬 Loud cheers from proud Bengals and Loud cheers for good vibes!! Thank you to the ISU community for all their support, efforts, engagement and dedication for the love of it all! Thank you president Wagner for all you do & the love and support you show to the fullest! 🖤🧡🫶🏽

Parades will forever be my favorite! It’s my time to hype it up! 👏🏽🍬🐅 Seeing everyone light up with good morning smiles, bags ready, candy flying and waves in the air! 👋🏾 This year, shouts of “Go Bengals!” and “Go ISU!” filled the streets of Fort Hall!

We had our ISU Alumni Booth open today! There were hand outs of what Idaho State University offers to students! We had a bowl of candy for the kids, stickers and an awesome drawing for a chance to win a ribbon skirt kit w/ ISU merch x3 and a Mystery bag!! ✨ It was a delight to get to talk to each of you and share experiences, thoughts and questions! Also participating in our drawing!! 🤍🫶🏽

Thank you to each and everyone one of the Bengals! I’m so happy to share these moments with y’all! 🧡 Thank you to the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes for making this event possible every year!! Lastly, Thank you to our amazing Miss Shoshone-Bannock Myke Moore 2025-2026 for the love and support during my reign as Miss Native Idaho State University and showing love at our ISU Powwow! She’s done amazing events with Idaho State University with graduation ceremonies, speaking proudly as the ambassador of the Shoshone-Bannock tribes & being a wonderful friend to all! Thank you for an amazing year Myke!! 💖🫶🏽👑

Had an absolute blast at the STEM Carnival!! 💚✨

Thank you Alana Edmo for the opportunity to get to be apart of the STEM carnival, I got the chance to check out all the booths with my cool Yaha Passport ready to get my learn on! I’ve learned so much from such amazing individuals who are passionate about what they do and proud!

Learned so much about our animals, the environment, the resources we use as energy and how we can better manage our power, the electrical circuits that show the path of electric travel with a snap circuit board, learning about computer coding (I made a bracelet with my Initial using code!), robotics, fish harvesting and our wildlife. Overall, getting the opportunity to be apart of the conversation about these amazing opportunities to learn & keeping growing! It’s so endless and it’s amazing the more you explore!

Thank you to everyone who made this all possible, the set up was awesome and everything was a blast! Thank you to these amazing individuals who answered every question and taught with passion! Thank you for the amazing day STEM! 🫶🏽🚀♾️

Pishayu Yongona!

I made it here to the Bannock Gathering this fine morning! ☀️🩵

The Bannock Gathering was an eye opener, a good place to learn from and with elders & the community! Getting to learn from stories told, experiences and teaching & building relationships with ourselves, our people, our lands, our heritage, wisdom and knowledge. 🤍🙏🏽

Getting to celebrate our Warrior Challengers! They had such a great run regardless of what obstacles came in the way. I loved how they stated what could be improved or what the best part of doing the challenge was. We overcome challenges but we stride with our best foot forward! So I really tip my hat off to each of them, as well as, the committee who made it all possible for us to witness this incredible event! 🚣🏾🚴🏾‍♂️🐎🏃🏾‍♂️💫💯

Here with our Miss Shoshone-Bannock 2025-2026 Myke Moore! She is amazing and had good words to say this morning! I am so happy for my sister and the amazing representation she has brought to the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes! Thank you for the leadership and the outstanding work! 🫶🏽✨

It was also amazing getting the opportunity to listen to our Miss Shoshone-Bannock 🌹contestant Tay’a Osborne publicly speak during the gathering! It feels like Myke, Jasmine, Scarlett & I were contesting for Miss Shoshone-Bannock 25/26 publicly speaking at the Bannock Gathering standing before the bannock gathers like it was yesterday but it was exactly a year ago! It was really cool to get to ask Tay’a a question and listen to her answer the people’s questions with immense strength! 💛 I am excited to see what she will bring to the people during this pageantry this week and the ambassadorship for the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes! 💙

Good evening!

I just wanted to share my weekend here at the Northern Ute Celebration on the Ute Reservation of Fort Duchesne! 🤎🪶
Danced a lot, made new friends & danced with many royalties, friends and family, proudly as Miss Idaho State University!! 💐🧡

Getting to speak Friday about my title and the encouragement of higher education for our Newe communities reaching for passions, goals and dreams for/of the future! 🎓📚

Thank you to the powwow community, singers, dancers, vendors and visitors for making this a fabulous weekend! ✨
Congratulations to the new royalty and thank you to the outgoing royalty who really made their community proud by outstanding leadership, dedication to represent their people, educate their youth and put themselves out there!! 👑✨
