It's always fun to watch my students work through something they find difficult. Getting to see them feel successful and excited once they accomplish something they once thought they couldn't is definitely one of my favorite things about teaching! The trick is to help them separate the numbers into categories so that it is no longer an overwhelming task. The other thing is that your child has to WANT to do the 100 board or it is not going to get done, and they're going to hate it the entire time!
