💙 Giving Back to Our Community! 💙

This week, our Family Medicine residents and faculty took some time out of clinic to volunteer at the Idaho Foodbank! Together, we helped sort and pack food that will go directly to Idaho families in need.

Service is at the heart of what we do — whether it’s in the exam room or out in the community, we’re proud to live out our mission of caring for others.

A huge thank you to the Idaho Foodbank for the incredible work they do every day, and to our residents and faculty for showing up with such great energy and teamwork! 💪🏽🥫🌽

Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of physicians while providing high-quality patient care? Join our team as a Family Medicine Faculty Physician and make a meaningful impact every day!

What You’ll Do:
✅ Supervise residents and support their professional development
✅ Provide outpatient clinical teaching and didactic presentations
✅ Participate in Residency administration and program development
✅ Deliver exceptional outpatient care and generate clinical revenue
✅ Serve as a resident advisor and provide on-call services

Minimum Qualifications:
🎓 MD or DO
🎓 Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency
✅ Board Certified in Family Medicine

Preferred Qualifications:
🌟 Prior teaching experience
🌟 Interest in addiction medicine and medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
🌟 Certification or interest in Lifestyle Medicine

🎓💪 Spine boarding success!

Our amazing 2nd-year resident, Dr. Longe, got spine boarded like a pro during our collaborative spine boarding workshop — a joint effort between the MS in Athletic Training program and the Sports Med/Residency Track team.

It was a great hands-on experience in interprofessional teamwork, emergency response, and clinical skills training. Big thanks to everyone who made it happen — and props to Dr. Longe for being such a good sport (and a great "patient")! 🏥🙌

🎉 We just wrapped up our annual Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) course!

It's always a privilege to provide hands-on training for our residents and community physicians. From scanning techniques to clinical applications, this course is all about empowering providers with the tools they need to deliver better bedside care.

Thank you to everyone who participated, taught, and helped make it a success — we love seeing the passion for learning in action! 🩺✨

🎉 A Day to Remember: White Coat & Graduation Luncheon 🩺🎓
We had the honor of celebrating two incredible milestones in our residency program!

We proudly welcomed our incoming interns during a meaningful White Coat Ceremony—marking the beginning of their journey in medicine with purpose and promise. 💼✨

At the same time, we honored our graduating residents, who have completed their training with excellence and are now stepping confidently into their careers as physicians. 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️

The luncheon was filled with inspiration, heartfelt words, and well-deserved recognition. Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this special day—and congratulations to all who are beginning and concluding this transformative chapter! 💙
