To my wonderful clients, friends, and community,

It is with a heavy heart that I share that my husband has passed away.

As our family navigates this unimaginable loss, Rowan Tree Holistic Arts will be closed for the foreseeable future while I take the time I need to grieve and be with my loved ones.

I am deeply grateful for the love, kindness, and support so many of you have shown me over the years. Your understanding during this time means more than I can express.

I won't be responding to messages or appointment requests right away, but I will share an update when I am ready to return.

Thank you for holding my family in your thoughts and for allowing us the privacy and space we need.

If you've noticed I've been a little quieter over the past few days, it's because I was soaking in one of life's greatest gifts...

Welcoming my sweet new grandson into the world. 💚

Sometimes the most important moments ask us to put everything else on pause.

The posts can wait.

The emails can wait.

Marketing can wait.

These are the moments that become the memories we carry for a lifetime.

As I return to my healing space this week, my heart feels especially full and deeply grateful—for family, for new beginnings, and for the privilege of walking alongside others through so many meaningful moments in life.

One of the biggest myths I hear is:
"If it doesn't hurt, it isn't working."
The truth is, deeper pressure isn't always better.
Our muscles don't exist in isolation—they're connected to our nervous system.
When your body feels safe, muscles are often able to soften naturally.
That's why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all massage.
Every session begins by listening.
Listening to your goals.
Listening to your body.
Listening to what it needs that day.
Sometimes that's focused therapeutic work.
Sometimes it's gentle, restorative care.
Sometimes it's somewhere in between.
Healing isn't about enduring more pain.
It's about helping your body move toward balance.

The beginning of a new month always feels like an invitation to pause, breathe, and begin again.

Before I welcome my first clients into my healing space, I like to spend a few quiet moments setting an intention for the month ahead.

I clear the space with gratitude, invite in peace, and pull an oracle card—not to predict the future, but to offer a gentle reflection for the journey ahead.

This month's card reminded me that healing doesn't always happen in grand, dramatic moments.

Sometimes it begins with a single deep breath.
A moment of stillness.
A choice to be a little gentler with ourselves.

My intention for July is to continue creating a sanctuary where every person who walks through my door feels safe, supported, and cared for.

Stress has a way of quietly settling into our bodies before we even realize it's there.
For many people, it shows up as: 💚 A clenched jaw 💚 Tight shoulders 💚 Neck tension 💚 Shallow breathing
Before you move on with your day, take just 30 seconds to check in with yourself.
✨ Relax your shoulders. ✨ Unclench your jaw. ✨ Take one slow, deep breath.
You don't have to wait until you're completely overwhelmed to care for your nervous system. Small moments of awareness can create meaningful shifts over time.
