Welcome to my little healing sanctuary in Pocatello

There is something incredibly special about creating a space where people can come exactly as they are.

A place to exhale.
To soften.
To quiet the outside world for a little while.
To reconnect with their body, their breath, and themselves.

As I prepared to return to Pocatello, I wanted this room to feel less like a treatment room and more like a sanctuary—warm, earthy, peaceful, a little magical, and unmistakably Rowan Tree. 🌿✨

Every little detail has been chosen with intention: soft light, warm textures, greenery, sound, and pieces that make the space feel grounded and held.

And somehow, standing here now, it feels especially meaningful.

This isn't simply me reopening a massage room. After everything life has brought me these past few months, returning to this work feels different.
I am different.

So this space represents a new chapter for Rowan Tree Holistic Arts—one rooted in healing, gentleness, connection, and allowing ourselves to begin again when we're ready.

🌿 ROWAN TREE IS OPENING HER DOORS AGAIN 🌿

There are seasons when we are called to grow… and seasons when we are called to simply survive.

This summer, my world changed in ways I never could have imagined. When my husband, Chuck, passed away, I knew I needed to step away from Rowan Tree Holistic Arts and give myself permission to grieve, be with my family, and begin learning how to navigate a life that suddenly looked very different.

Over these past few months, I’ve learned that healing doesn’t mean returning to who you were before.

Sometimes healing means discovering who you are becoming.

And I think I’m ready to begin again.

🌿 Rowan Tree Holistic Arts is reopening. 🌿

For now, my return will be slow and intentional, with a very limited schedule:

✨ Pocatello — Thursdays & Saturdays
✨ Idaho Falls — Fridays

My online books will remain closed at this time.

If you would like to schedule an appointment, please reach out to me directly.
This allows me to personally manage my schedule and create a pace that feels sustainable as I step back into the work I love.

This next chapter of Rowan Tree may look a little different.

So do I.

But the heart of this space remains the same—a place for compassionate touch, sacred rest, lymphatic wellness, nervous-system support, energy work, and simply being cared for.

To every client, friend, and member of this community who checked on me, prayed for me, sent messages, gave me space, or quietly held me and my family in your hearts—thank you. I don't have words big enough for what that support has meant to me. 🤍

I am nervous. I am hopeful. And I am taking this one day at a time.

But I am ready to begin.

To my wonderful clients, friends, and community,

It is with a heavy heart that I share that my husband has passed away.

As our family navigates this unimaginable loss, Rowan Tree Holistic Arts will be closed for the foreseeable future while I take the time I need to grieve and be with my loved ones.

I am deeply grateful for the love, kindness, and support so many of you have shown me over the years. Your understanding during this time means more than I can express.

I won't be responding to messages or appointment requests right away, but I will share an update when I am ready to return.

Thank you for holding my family in your thoughts and for allowing us the privacy and space we need.

🌿 Life has a beautiful way of reminding us what truly matters.

If you've noticed I've been a little quieter over the past few days, it's because I was soaking in one of life's greatest gifts...

Welcoming my sweet new grandson into the world. 💚

Sometimes the most important moments ask us to put everything else on pause.

The posts can wait.

The emails can wait.

Marketing can wait.

These are the moments that become the memories we carry for a lifetime.

As I return to my healing space this week, my heart feels especially full and deeply grateful—for family, for new beginnings, and for the privilege of walking alongside others through so many meaningful moments in life.

🌿 Healing Thursday
One of the biggest myths I hear is:
"If it doesn't hurt, it isn't working."
The truth is, deeper pressure isn't always better.
Our muscles don't exist in isolation—they're connected to our nervous system.
When your body feels safe, muscles are often able to soften naturally.
That's why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all massage.
Every session begins by listening.
Listening to your goals.
Listening to your body.
Listening to what it needs that day.
Sometimes that's focused therapeutic work.
Sometimes it's gentle, restorative care.
Sometimes it's somewhere in between.
Healing isn't about enduring more pain.
It's about helping your body move toward balance.

🌿 Welcome, July.

The beginning of a new month always feels like an invitation to pause, breathe, and begin again.

Before I welcome my first clients into my healing space, I like to spend a few quiet moments setting an intention for the month ahead.

I clear the space with gratitude, invite in peace, and pull an oracle card—not to predict the future, but to offer a gentle reflection for the journey ahead.

This month's card reminded me that healing doesn't always happen in grand, dramatic moments.

Sometimes it begins with a single deep breath.
A moment of stillness.
A choice to be a little gentler with ourselves.

My intention for July is to continue creating a sanctuary where every person who walks through my door feels safe, supported, and cared for.
