IS YOUR CHILD LEARNING WHILE THEY'RE PLAYING?

To a child, it may just look like building, moving, pretending, exploring or playing with friends.

But there's a lot of learning happening along the way.

Through TLC's Frog Street curriculum, age-appropriate activities combine exploration and hands-on experiences with language, early math and science, movement, social skills and problem-solving.

Sometimes the best learning doesn't look like a lesson at all.

ARE YOU GETTING MORE THAN BABYSITTING FROM YOUR CHILDCARE?
At TLC—Tender Loving Care—we believe childcare should be about more than simply watching children while parents are at work.

Children should be learning, exploring, building friendships, developing confidence, and preparing for what comes next. That's why we have updated our curriculum to the Frog Street Early Childhood curriculum, providing our teachers age-appropriate tools for learning through play, language, literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development.

The Childcare Assistance Program is available for Native American families in Jordan School District. This is available to all federally recognized tribes in Salt Lake county and other counties.

The NWBSN Childcare Program offers funding to assist with childcare costs for eligible native families wherein the parents/legal guardians are attending school, employed, or completing job training.

Parent/legal guardian or child must be a member of a federally recognized tribe, the applicant must live in Salt Lake, Utah, Cache, Box Elder, Weber, or Davis counties. The child must be under the age of 13 at the time of enrollment.

We asked our preschoolers a very important question: “What’s your favorite thing about preschool?” 💛

The park or playground was definitely a fan favorite! 🛝🥰 But our favorite answer of all? “Sunday.” 😂

We love hearing preschool through their eyes and finding out what makes their days so special. These sweet (and sometimes unexpected!) answers are the best! 🌈✨
