Bond County 4-H is hosting a 4-H Cloverbud Field Day for 5-7 year-olds. Previous 4-H membership is not needed, but registration is so use the QR code to register today.

Gardening is not over when spring is over.
Potatoes 🥔 can be planted up to the end of June.
Green beans, zucchini 🥒( squash) and cucumbers can be doubled cropped until mid August. ( don't forget seeds grow just as good as plants )
Pumpkins 🎃 should be planted June 25th and Turnips rain or dry by 25th of July.
Corn can be staggered planted until mid June.
And Cole crops, peas, carrots 🥕 and radish can be planted again this Fall.
So don't fall for the Spring marketing frenzy that the big box store's want you to buy into, get your hands dirty all year long. It's good for the soul and the pocket book.

The first meeting for Bond County 4-H Shooting Sports will be held Wednesday, May 18 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bond Christian Service Camp in Mulberry Grove. We are also still in search of more instructors. Please see the flyer below for more information on the trainings coming up.
