Leave A Legacy Scholarship

Leave A Legacy Scholarship Leaving a Legacy of Servitude. The Practical Nursing class of 2015 at Black River Technical College made a decision to leave a legacy of servitude.

With that goal in mind, a scholarship was founded to financially assist those students entering their third semester of the program. The "Leave a Legacy" 5K Run and Walk serves as the capstone fundraising event for the scholarship.

The Leave a Legacy Scholarship continues to succeed! This Spring, 2019 scholarships of $200 each were awarded to all of the Spring 2019 PN students. Another semester is coming to an end. The fall class has worked hard all semester on fundraisers and we will soon know how many scholarships will be available for next semester's students. We are so pleased with their hard work and can't wait to announce another round of Legacy Scholarship recipients.

We are pleased to announce that we will proudly award 5 scholarships to the fall PN class of 2015!!! This would not have been possible without all of the help from the spring 2015 class, volunteers, and the wonderful nursing staff at Black River Tech. Thank You to the community for all donations and the Pocahontas Police Dept for their assistance during the Leave A Legacy 5K!
