Congratulations to the Randolph County 4-H Senior Food Challenge Team, the Rajun Cajuns, for an outstanding performance at the Arkansas State 4-H Food Challenge!

After qualifying through district competition, the Randolph County 4-H team advanced to the state contest where they were challenged to create an original recipe using a mystery ingredient—cinnamon. The Rajun Cajuns impressed the judges with their creativity by preparing stuffed churros made with flour tortillas, cream cheese, milk, vanilla, and their own cinnamon-sugar blend. They fried and shaped the tortillas, rolled them in cinnamon sugar, and piped the sweet cream cheese filling inside to create a delicious and unique dessert.

While the Randolph County 4-H team did not place among the top three overall, they earned the prestigious Creative Thinkers Award in recognition of their innovation, originality, and creative approach to the challenge.

We are incredibly proud of the Rajun Cajuns for their hard work, teamwork, and dedication. They represented Randolph County 4-H with excellence, and this award is a testament to their creativity and perseverance. Congratulations on a job well done!
