First Day of School Schedule Reminder High School Students:
First day of school for high school students will follow an altered schedule.
Students in Grades 9 should report to school at their normal start time.
Upperclassmen should report three and a half hours later than their normal start time.
Transportation Information:
Bus routes will run twice on the first day:
The first run will transport 9th grade students at their normal pickup times.
The second run will occur three and a half hours later for all other middle and high school students.
This adjusted schedule is designed to provide additional time and support for students transitioning to a new school environment and help ensure a smooth start to the school year.
We look forward to welcoming all Poca High students back for a fantastic year of learning!

Open House is this Thursday, August 20th from 5:00-7:00 for freshmen and new enrollees. Freshmen can pick up schedules and meet their teachers. Representatives from our transportation department will be there if you have questions regarding bus routes, and representatives from the Family Care Bus will be there as well. Additionally, the Poca High clothing closet will be open that evening, and all clothing is free. We hope to see you at Open House!

PHS Students: If you would like to pick up your schedule before the first day of school, schedules will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the following days:
Seniors: Wednesday, August 12th
Juniors: Thursday, August 13th
Sophomores: Friday, August 14th
Freshmen: Thursday, August 20th, during Freshman Open House from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Please remember, no schedule changes will be made until the following week when school starts.
