Rosie 💕
Your days with us were just not long enough.
From the very first day Lil and I went to pick you up for Shailin, you had our hearts. Shailin wanted a white pony for her birthday, so with the help of our friend Paula, we found her a grey one! Soon to turn white after some time 😉
Shay showed her in leadline, walk trot, and even won many blue ribbons at the Deerfield Fair! After Shay grew up and went to school, Rosie went to live with them just up the road, but that just wasn’t enough for her. So she shortly made the return to RHF to be a part of the lesson program, because what little kid wouldn’t want to ride the pretty white pony?
She would drag me around during leadline lessons, start to pull on the kids at exactly 20 minutes into their ride until I would finally say it was time to go in, and drag you over to grass so fast that she may even tear your shoulder out …
But we adored this little pony more than I can put into words. She gave so many kids the wonderful experience of riding - lessons, birthdays, open houses, unicorn photos - you name it, Rosie was there! And she loved those kids, always looking for treats and sucking on her tongue in true Rosie fashion.
Rosie, you will be greatly missed by each and every one of us and will forever hold a special place in our hearts 💕

We are home and rested from an incredible long weekend at the ASAM Horse Show in Deerfield NH. Our girls rode so well in each and every class, coming home ready to work hard and prepare for the next one!
They all supported each other with a hard to miss cheering section in the bleachers and even helped out with barn chores and carrying the get ready bucket!
This show is always tons of fun with lots to do for the kids, a great schedule, and the wonderful weather sure did help!
Thank you so much to the entire show committee for a fabulous weekend, we can’t wait for next year!

❤️ After a hot and hard-working week of camp, we were so proud to take 19 riders to the South Shore Horsemen’s Council at Grazing Fields on Sunday! 🐴☀️

Every single one of our students was amazing, and our lesson horses could not have been more perfect. We are beyond thankful for all of the people who helped make this day possible and for everyone who continues to support our riders.

Most of all, we are so incredibly proud of these kids and all the hard work, dedication, and heart they put in. Watching them grow and shine is what it’s all about! 🏆❤️🐎
