📚🌟What we show on the outside doesn’t always tell the whole story.

The Plymouth Area Prevention Collaborative joined the Boys & Girls Club of Plymouth for our Mask Off activity, where youth had the chance to express their feelings, creativity, and individuality through art.

One side of the mask represented how they feel on the inside, while the other side showed how they feel they are seen by others.

This activity sparked conversations about emotions, identity, confidence, and the importance of being our true selves. 💙

Thank you to the Boys & Girls Club of Plymouth for partnering with us to support youth mental wellness in our community!

On Friday we had a table at the Local Seen's Speak Up: Art in Action event! This event hosted art work from local artists with the theme of political advocacy and dissent. We are so hapy we were able to be included and share art work from our own Photovoice Projects!

We had a great start to the week with Plymouth North students! Students practiced healthy coping skills like journaling, creating their own self-care wheel, meditation, and creating their own emotional support rubber duck!

🟣This event will feature presentations on our Crisis Mobile Intervention (MCI) services and Adult Community Crisis Stabilization (ACCS) programs—two vital supports designed to provide immediate help, safety, and hope to individuals in crisis.

🟪Together, we’ll explore how these services work, how to access them, and how High Point continues to support our community in preventing su***de and promoting behavioral health.

🚨 Have you heard of Kratom? It's an unregulated substance showing up more and more in gas stations, smoke shops, and online—often marketed as a “natural” energy booster or stress reliever.

However Kratom is not controlled under the Controlled Substances Act and the FDA has not approved Kratom for any medical use. The DEA has listed kratom as a Drug and Chemical of Concern.
