Armstrong Parent Association Welcome, AHS Parents! As parents/guardians of Armstrong High School students, you are members of the Armstrong Parent Association (APA).

As parents/guardians of Armstrong High School students, you are already members of the APA. The focus of the APA is to provide volunteers and support to Armstrong High School, to promote Falcon Spirit and Pride, to build student, parent and school community and support equitable access to activities, athletics and services. We do so through:

📣 Falcon Family, APA Meetings Are Back! ❤️💙

School is back, and so is the Armstrong Parent Association! This year, we’re trying a new meeting day and a new format, and we’d love to have you join us.

Our first APA meeting of the year will be held virtually on Thursday, September 10 from 7:00–8:00 p.m.

We’ll be joined by Head Principal Mr. Norby for a brief school update and Q&A, along with our Homecoming Committee Chairs, who will share information about the upcoming Homecoming event on September 18.

APA meetings are a great way to stay informed, connect with other Armstrong families, and learn more about what’s happening in our school community.

🌟 Juniors & Seniors: NHS Applications Are Open! 🌟

Are you ready to take the next step toward becoming a member of Armstrong High School’s National Honor Society?

NHS recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in four important pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.

As you complete your application, be sure to read each question carefully and take time to give thoughtful, meaningful responses. This is your opportunity to share who you are, what you value, and how you demonstrate the qualities of an NHS member.

📅 Application Deadline: September 27 at midnight
⚠️ No late submissions will be accepted.

Students will be notified the week of October 12 whether they have qualified for membership in Armstrong’s NHS chapter.

We’re just 1 day away from the first day of school, and we can’t wait to welcome our Falcons back! 💙❤️

💻 Now is the time to find those Chromebooks and charge them! 💻

📅 Monday, August 31st will look a little different for students:

🏫 Grade 9: IN PERSON
Freshmen should report to school on time and don’t need to bring anything with them, just yourselves! Everything you’ll need for the day will be provided. We’re excited to welcome you to Armstrong! 🦅

💻 Grades 10–12: ASYNCHRONOUS FROM HOME

Your to-do list:

✅ Log into Schoology and visit ALL of your courses. Each course will have an assignment for you to complete.

✅ Log into your Advisory and complete the attendance form by 3:00 p.m. This is important to make sure you are marked present for the day.

⚠️ Having trouble logging in?
If you are unable to access your account, a parent/guardian can submit an absence request in Infinite Campus so your attendance can be excused. You can also email your Advisory teacher to let them know you are having an issue.

💻 Take some time before Tuesday to make sure you can access Schoology, Infinite Campus, and everything you’ll need to start the year successfully.

🦅 We’ll see ALL of our Falcons in person on Tuesday!

The first week will run on a Falcon Flex schedule, so be sure to watch for schedule information and updates.

The schedule currently posted in Infinite Campus is still a DRAFT 📝 and may change before the first day of school as classes continue to be balanced.

🔄 Schedule changes are generally made only for specific reasons, including:

-📖 Placement in the wrong class
-✅ Missing prerequisites
-➖ Eligible students choosing to drop a class
-🎓 Enrollment in PSEO, work experience, technical college, or another alternative program
-⚖️ Duplicate classes, schedule conflicts, or credit/course imbalances

📸 Important reminder: Students should take a screenshot of their schedule the morning of the first day of school so they have the most up-to-date version.

⚠️ Please keep in mind that schedule changes are not guaranteed and are limited to the approved reasons outlined by the school.

💻 Be sure to check Infinite Campus again on the first morning of school before heading to class!

📸 Picture Day Reminder: Kemmetmueller Photography will be taking school photos in the cafeteria during the event. Families will receive an email with a link to view and select photos once they are ready.

Seniors who attended AHS as juniors do not need to take another school photo. Senior IDs can be picked up in the main office during the Great Armstrong Experience.

👕 And don’t miss the Armstrong Faculty Pop-Up Thrift Store!
Stop by the Armstrong Cafeteria from 3:00–5:00 PM to shop gently used Armstrong gear at great prices. Items have been donated by Armstrong staff, and proceeds benefit the Armstrong Staff Events Committee.

Whether you’re brand new to Armstrong or returning for another year, come explore, connect, grab some Falcon gear, and get ready for the 2026–2027 school year!

Another incredible school year is in the books. Thank you to our students, families, teachers, staff, and community for making this year one to remember.

We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled summer filled with new adventures, great memories, and plenty of time to recharge.

To our graduating seniors, congratulations and best wishes as you begin your next chapter. To our returning Falcons, we'll see you in the fall!
