Meet Duane Woelfel, the new Fairview Elementary School principal!

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from UW-Green Bay; Master of Science in Administrative Leadership from UW-Milwaukee; Superintendent Certification from Cardinal Stritch University

Experience:
-Port Washington-Saukville School District as High School Principal 2002-11, then Director of Special Services 2011-22
-Plymouth School District: Teacher Wellness and Resiliency Coach, Administrative Coach, and Interim/Substitute Elementary Principal

Interests: Outside of school, I enjoy hunting, fishing, woodworking, participating in craft fairs, and spending time with my grandchildren.

What are you most excited about this year? I am most excited about the opportunity to build on the incredible sense of community at Fairview. I am looking forward to getting to know our students and families even better, supporting our staff, celebrating successes, and creating a school where students are excited to come each day.

Is there anything else you want people to know? I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve as the principal at Fairview Elementary, and I’m looking forward to a great year together!

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and we are so excited to celebrate the incredible teachers and staff who make such a difference in our school every single day! Your hard work, dedication, and endless patience do not go unnoticed.

Thank you for the early mornings, the late nights, the extra effort, and the genuine care you show in everything you do.
