Of all the things y’all got worked up about, I genuinely didn’t think the salt would be it.

So, class is in session:
Diamond Crystal technically isn’t “less salty.” A teaspoon of it just contains less actual salt because the crystals are large, light, and airy. Morton packs in more salt. Table salt packs in even more.

Same spoon. Different amount of sodium chloride.
And before the Sea Salt Brigade arrives: sea salt is fantastic... as a finishing salt. Those dense little crystals can get real aggressive real fast in everyday cooking.

Now everybody take a deep breath and season your food.

Kitchen tip: Dropped eggshell in the bowl? Use the eggshell itself to scoop it out. The shell acts like a magnet and grabs those slippery little pieces way better than a spoon. 🥚
