New School High is a student-centered public school academy
in Plymouth.

New School High was conceived and designed by teachers and parents with one thought in mind: what kind of school would I want for my child? We agreed that our school would be a place where:

– the strengths and goals of every student are known by caring adults
– excellence is an expectation for every member
– responsibility, respect, wellness, and creativity are explicitly nurtured
– character and effort are true measures of success
– learning is joyous

While New School High has come to its end as an institution, the reach of NSH will continue through the lives of the students, familiies, and staff.

New School High welcomed everyone who came through our doors, and we celebrated them, no matter where in their learning process they were. NSH offered an educational home that was accepting, academic, and simply amazing. Students and staff found their niche and welcomed each other to learn and grow together.

May the ideals, compassion, and education of New School High continue to inform the students, faculty, and all those who worked hard to provide a fine education imbued with those values.

Life's journey continues, and we are excited for all the love our community will spread around the world! ❤️

Due to impending weather conditions which will make travel conditions dangerous through the day, NSH will be closed Wednesday, January 25. Students and parents should check their email regarding final exam schedules.

Oakland University started our student’s post secondary exploration off with an awesome college visit. Students learned about what OU has to offer and they were able to get their questions answered.

Thank you Oakland University!!

We look forward to other colleges/universities visits later this month.

Our students are learning from the best- each other! Our awesome Algebra 2 students were helping each other understand how to divide polynomials.

Thank you to the Plymouth Police Department for conducting an active assailant training for our students. We are happy to partner with the Plymouth PD to help keep our students and staff safe.

Happy Constitution Day! Students and staff learned from Mr. Solmes, our Social Studies teacher, about the history of the constitution at morning meeting on Thursday. So many great questions from students about the history of this important document.

Gordie, our school therapy dog, is a beloved member of the school community. He is very excited to start school in a few weeks and see all of our students!
